介质滤波器最大特点是小型化，利用高介质常数陶瓷材料制作的介质滤波器，其体积可以达到空腔谐振器型滤波器的30%，其重量也是空腔谐振器型滤波器的30%甚至10%以下，更重要的是介质滤波器的谐振频率随温度变化量可以控制在很小的范围。
The key feature of the Ceramic Waveguide Filter is miniaturization. It is made of high dielectric constant ceramic material, the volume can reach 30% of the traditional type of cavity filter, and its weight is about 30% or even less than 10% of the traditional type of cavity filter. More importantly, its resonant frequency can be controlled in a small range with temperature variation. Filter of 5G base station can form AFU in the antenna directly by SMT.
